Photoshop Comparison

 Before Photoshop
After Photoshop

The angle the photo was taken at helped obtain depth in the photo and capture the person in the photo with a great expression. It would have been better if the image had more light when it was captured. The close up lens also helped to achieve depth in the photo. Photoshop has allowed me to brighten the image and make the background all the same colour. It has allowed me to make all the white in the image the same shade as well. The spot healing tool has allowed me to achieve an even unblemished skin tone. Photoshop has given a sharper brighter tone to the colours as well.

Leading Lines

Headspace

A wide angle lens has been used as the landscape here is very wide itself. The wide lens allows all the peripheral detail to be captured.

Bulb, abbreviated B, is a shutter speed setting on an adjustable camera that allows for long exposure times under the direct control of the photographer.

Examples of Leading Lines

Here the photographer has used leading lines in a shot of a train station. These lines draw the viewers focus to the end of the tunnel. This creates the thought of wanting to go down and explore the tunnel.
The photographer uses leading lines to focus the viewers attention to the forest in the background. This creates mystery for the viewer and intrigues them to find out more.
This image shows a landscape with mountains and a river. The river is used as leading lines to draw the viewers attention to the mountainous region in the background to give the viewer an air of mystery when viewing the image.
The image here has captured 3 horizontal sections. The skyline, The city and bridge and the docks. Vertically it has captured both the bridge and the docks. One of the power points is the docks and another is the bridge. The lights of the city are in the middle third which draws the viewers attention to the middle of the photo.
